Profile
Jacqueline Lau
BSc MSc ARCS DIC LRPS
Originally from Hong Kong but currently bouncing between Singapore and London, Jacqueline is an ecologist by training but prefers to go by the more humbler tag of a ‘naturalist’. She has been a nature guide for close to seven years now, with her beginnings as a volunteer guide at the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve in Singapore.
In her free time and whenever - geographically - possible, she volunteers with the National Parks Board, Nature Society (Singapore), the Natural History Museum in London, the UK Scouts Association, and several other organisations in various roles… as a guide, a webmistress, a photographer, a curator, or a coordinator. She is a Specialised Tourist Guide (Nature), licensed under the Singapore Tourism Board, and a Licentiate of the the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain.
When not outdoors stalking deer or persuing her photographic exploits, Jacqueline can be found carrying out more normal activities such as… reading books or computer gaming.
